The morning temperatures are relatively cooler, thus helping runners maintain the ideal body temperature throughout the run. The position of the sun is low, thus preventing glare that usually occurs later in the day.

Weather conditions in which there are partly cloudy skies can help keep the sun at bay as well as prevent overheating. It is a suitable time to run as long as it will not quickly clear up. If the sun is in full bloom, it can result in glares coming from shiny objects while running, which will only serve as distractions.
